"Sodom and Gomorrah"

So exasperating to be here, Sodom where souls are so dome With gnashing of teeth. Gomorrah where ‘go-moral is immoral’. Gomorrah where immoral’s faces Show-up everyday. Sodom where nudity is welcome. No more Lot in my Sodom and Gomorrah. But,Lot’s daughters are now sand. Angelic voice I hear Saying, find fifty or forty pure doves for my dome to be saved. But, Where are they? Sodom and Gomorrah where banana spoils Folks’ voice saying banana ripes. Deceit knocks daily even from little rat and king lion. Sodom and Gomorrah where Lot’s wife moves near memorable salt, where brimstone moves near. ###This is my own song to shun nudity and immoralities in my country.God please purify my country### Poet: Mulekanle Adedotun

"Living Eagles"

"Living Eagles" Eagles of my era Living symbol of power Your wings give strength But why? Preying on others Is your hobby. Eagles of my era Living symbol of pride Finches and parrot Are not your mate But soaring alone. So selfish and arrogant! Eagles of my era Your nets build in rock For your keen vision: Preying on peasants. Eagles of my era But why? From peasant snake and rats, Fresh loaves of bread and fishes Come. Eagles of my era Be aware! Point of no return Moves near Your milk and honey Remain here. Poet:Mulekanle Adedotun

"No Saviour"

More I look       Less I see,       More I sleep       Less I rest,       More I sell       Less my profit,       More faith       Less hope.        Looking to and fro        Yawning for my milk and        honey        In my father's land.        In my father's land        Milk showers like fountain        Honey flows like busy river        Yet,        Hunger and starving knocks  ...

"Sons of chameleon"

Roots planted oversea Branches here to see, Green pasture is your gain for your workers here comes pain, Here comes that day To make your hay and day, With your deceit agenda To put us asunder, Your hays and days are done But your promises are gone, Your deceit agenda brings chain Ready to give stain, Here comes homeless Even bringing us hopeless, Is this our fate? Faith comes to be outdate. You sons of chameleon Where is our dominion? No more topsy-turvy No longer fuddy duddy. Poet:Mulekanle Adedotun Adedoyin

"Not this time"

Not this time Neither this period, Marriage is what? My Friends Speak the speech, Tell me marry age You can't. What a periwig parted fellow! No panic Have seen her Even in my dream But where is my dream? Not this time Neither this period. My maturity is where? Her maturity is where? Immaturity square Where is the breath To breath her For now My shelter is still shattered My shirt is still short and shattered Soon, Be a a shield No!I won't be like him That commoner His income is common Even not coming. Receives obnoxious words From her lover. I see her Smiling everyday Waiting like waiting For the Godot, For what? My marriage manifesto. Wait for me At that tree of love Until I got my access point To access you To become asset. Or, You want lie And be a liability? Poet : Mulekanle Adedotun Adedoyin
