"No Saviour"

      More I look
      Less I see,
      More I sleep
      Less I rest,
      More I sell
      Less my profit,
      More faith
      Less hope.

       Looking to and fro
       Yawning for my milk and
       honey
       In my father's land.

       In my father's land
       Milk showers like fountain
       Honey flows like busy river
       Yet,
       Hunger and starving knocks
       daily.
       Water water everywhere
       Yet,
       No drop to drink
       Thirst in my throat daily.

        Mother,why am here?
        Is this my fate?
        Stunted and retarded
        Daily my ribs glow
        Daily my skull scorns
        For my malnutrition
        Here comes no saviour.

Please where is our saviour?
